SCAR TISSUE RELEASE
Scar tissue is reported in science to be a common cause of stress activation. As human beings, we are forever collecting scars and traumas throughout our lives. Any scar, whether a small one from a childhood fall, to dental surgery or a major post-surgical scar, will activate stress by creating an “electrical” interference that disrupts the sympathetic nervous system (SNS). Touch of Nature Healing specializes in treatments that release scar tissue, freeing our clients from the physical and emotional effects of trauma.
"The future of medicine is in vibrational healing."
- Albert Einstein
Why is Scar Tissue Release Important?
Scars create a cellular imbalance of biochemicals and electricity in the local tissue, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem. This is true even if the scar does not hurt or cause range of motion issues.

Scars produce a state of prolonged stress -- tightening muscles, constricting blood/lymph flow, and diminishing parasympathetic healing. This stress, called sympathetic upregulation, weakens the vitality of body over time, leading to pain and disease.
Scar Tissue Release Techniques
Scar tissue release techniques at Touch of Nature Healing consist of Neurostim and MPS Pain Therapy, Myofascial Release techniques, and use of Kineso Taping.

Neurostim and MPS Pain Therapy
Touch of Nature Healing uses the Dolphin Neurostim device to release scar tissue and reduce sympathetic stress for the reduction of soft tissue pain. The application of the Dolphin to key acupuncture/trigger points is called Microcurrent Point Stimulation or MPS Therapy. MPS combines the principles of western neurology, stress management, integrative dentistry, and scar therapy with Eastern acupuncture philosophies. The “pearls” of these therapies are then woven into unique and easy to apply protocols that reduce STRESS and chronic pain all throughout the human body. The approach is applicable to any patient seeking fast, long-lasting, natural pain or stress relief.
Kinesio Taping
Kineso taping microscopically lifts the skin and has a cooling effect on underlying tissue. The lifting forms interstitial space and allows for decreased inflammation in affected areas. Applications can be applied and can reduce pain and inflammation, promote post-surgical healing, aide in scar tissue release, optimize performance, prevent injury, promote good circulation, and can assist the body’s natural healing process.
